Zemek Engineering has operated in Mackay since 1975 and services mining companies and heavy industry throughout Queensland and NSW. In addition to the Zemek workshop at Mackay Harbour, the company has opened a new workshop at 879 New England Highway at Lochinvar in NSW.
The company provides high quality repair and refurbishment of mining equipment, a full range of fabrication, and provides new products based on local designs, which are cast, or manufactured, in Queensland.
Work safety is a priority and, as a result of workplace initiatives, Zemek Engineering not only won the 2012 Queensland Safe Work Awards for the best workplace health and safety practice in a small business, but also won the 2013 national award.
