| Formally known as Aust-Group Industries Pty Ltd, the National group of companies now comprise one of Australia’s leading spring and wire product manufacturing companies.
National Springs and Wire Products produce a wide range of various spring products, wire forms and metal pressings with five companies covering 200 years of history. It is interesting to note the more readily identifiable day-to-day products for which National produces components.
A small example follows:
Dishwashers, washing machines, air-conditioners, light switches, globes & fittings, garage roller door springs, agricultural tines, tent pegs & springs, trampoline springs, electrical appliance springs, pipe bending springs, salter spring clips, rocking chair springs, plastic bucket handles, garbage bin clips, racing car & motor cycles and the numerous springs that go into a car such as wiper springs, window springs, door lock, boot, clutch and valve springs.
